This post actually should have been before the post for Halloween but I guess I was entirely to excited to blog about my favorite day of the year. Anyway this year at the fair was an experience that I had to aknowledge. Let me begin by saying I LOVE THE STATE FAIR!!!! I love everything about it, I start the countdown to the fair almost as early as I start the countdown to Halloween. We typically go on the only Monday night available as our annual fair family home evening, we invite anyone in the family who wants to come and most often it's us, Greg, Les and kids and Spence (sometime Heidi) and their kids. We always have a fabulous time doing it all. Most years the weather is wonderful, even a little too warm but not this year... it was a soggy mess!! It rained like crazy all day and didn't let up till around 7:30 or 8:00ish but being the faithful fair goers that we are we went anyway. We dressed all warm and made sure we had hoods and blankets, we should have all worn boots but you know what they say about hindsight... we were pleasantly surprised to find out Greg and Les and Spence and Heidi were also willing to brave the storm with us (what can I say, my family rocks!!) as well as a lot of other people. We wandered from building to building getting soaked and loving it. We were even able to find shelter and a table to eat dinner at, it was a miracle!! Despite the cold (and I really hate to be cold!!) this was one of our best years at the fair. Although here's to hoping it's a little warmer and a lot less wet next year!!
My daughter love the fair as much as I do =)

We are in a shark cage if you can't tell... *lol*
This goat kept trying to eat the stroller and Jordyn thought it was a riot
I am, once again, so behind it's ridiculous but better late then never right? Anyway as most of you know Halloween is our family's favorite day of the year. Brian proposed to me at his brother's house on Halloween 5 years ago (yes I do feel old) which just made it even better. Jordyn starts the countdown to Halloween in about July... alright so do I... and looking at these darling pictures you'll see one of the many other reasons why we love this spooky day best of all!!
Happy Halloween!!

Let's see, me in a nut shell... I'm 28 and have been married to my hubby, Brian, for 6 years. I have a 4 year old daughter named Jordyn Lyle, a beagle named Beamer, and a kitty named Zilla. I LOVE to read, that would be my favorite thing in life along with laying out in the hot, hot sun!! I like games with family and friends, watching scary movies, tortilla soup from Cafe Rio, donuts, DISNEYLAND, traveling, my pillow, hoodies, my electric blanket... well you get the gist. Anyway to sum it all up I have the cutest kid in the world, a studly and super handy husband, the BEST family in the world and awesome friends! Life is good!!
