Temple Quarry Trail!!

During our trip to St. George this spring we went on a little hike (not so much a hike as a nice long stroll) on the Temple Quarry Trail which is where the pioneers got the rock for the St. George temple. It was really fun to see all the wheel marks and other things left behind by our ancestors. The best part was walking with my grandpa and hearing all the stuff he knows. I'm pretty sure he knows EVERYTHING there is to know about St. George! I learned more in those couple hours then I could have anywhere else. Plus it's always special when I get to spend time with my Pa =) Jordyn loved it and I think she ran a good portion of the way there but after that she needed a little daddy help to make it back to the car. All of us enjoyed ourselves immensely. Our little hiking party included Brian, Jordyn, my mom, my dad, my grandpa and my uncle Greg. And to top it off the sunny weather was a very welcome break from all the gloomy weather we had been having back home!!

Wyatt's Wedding

In March one of our very best friends was married. We are so happy for him!! It was a great night since not only did we get to see Wyatt and his beautiful bride, Kristy, but also one of our other best friends, Adam, and his girlfriend flew in from North Carolina to be there. We had been looking forward to getting together for a long time and were excited to meet Adam's girlfriend, Cassia. We loved her!! Hopefully we will all be able to get together again soon!! We love you guys!!

4 years old!!

On December 26, 2010 our little Jordyn turned 4. I can't believe it!! Where did the time go? How did my little baby turn into a a little girl? I've heard tell of this phenomenon, the rapid aging of your own children and those children around you that you love, but this is ridiculous!! And to make it worse, as of now she's already 4 1/2 and has a year down of preschool and dance. One more year and she'll be in kindergarten!! It makes me a little sick to think about this actually...
